The context
Our client, an international aircraft maker, is developing a passenger eVTOL now in certification. On its behalf, you steer the supplier developing the flight control software (Flight Control System) in Montréal, to secure a certifiable delivery.
Your mission
- Review and challenge the supplier's deliverables: plans, requirements, verification cases and results
- Ensure DO-178C level A and B compliance, together with DO-254 and ARP4754A
- Own the findings list and drive closure, prepare certification reviews
- Be regularly on site at the supplier and act as technical interface with the client
The profile
- Hands-on DO-178C level A or B, ideally in verification, software quality assurance or certification
- Airworthiness, Transport Canada delegate or aerospace supplier quality profiles welcome if they have worked close to certified software
- Able to challenge a subcontractor; English mandatory, French a plus
- Based in Greater Montréal, or elsewhere in Québec with regular hybrid presence in Montréal
Start and travel
Start in November 2026. The mission opens with a three-week onboarding at the client's site in Japan, travel and accommodation arranged and covered, then continues in Montréal, hybrid. Six months minimum, contract or permanent.
