AWS Solutions Architect — Montreal

The role

For one of our key banking-sector clients in Montreal, we are looking for a senior Solutions Architect (permanent role). You design end-to-end technical solutions aligned with business and architecture goals, and guide development teams across the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, industry-compliant end-to-end solutions.
• Define integration patterns: APIs, streaming, microservices (MSA), containerization / serverless.
• Apply Domain Driven Design (DDD) to deliver composable architecture.
• Build cloud-native or hybrid solutions on AWS (Serverless, containers).
• Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance.
• Act as a trusted advisor and mentor a team of developers.

Your profile

• Bachelor in Engineering / IT + 10 years relevant experience, or Master's + 8 years.
• Proven solutions-architect experience on large-scale, complex systems.
• Strong AWS skills: EKS, Serverless, RDS, DynamoDB, S3.
• Orchestration: Camunda, AWS Step Functions.
• Composable architecture, micro-services, API, event-driven design.
• AWS Solution Architect certification.
• Plus: banking / finance sector, credit/debit card networks knowledge.
