A Japanese urban air mobility company (passenger eVTOL) is developing its aircraft in Aichi, near Nagoya. Abbeal supports its systems and safety hiring.

Context

You ensure safety and regulatory compliance of avionics systems throughout development, working with engineering teams and suppliers.

The role

  • Perform avionics system safety analyses and V&V activities
  • Run safety assessments: SFHA, SSA, FTA, CMA (CAFTA)
  • Derive safety requirements and support design reviews and V&V with design teams and suppliers
  • Apply ARP4761, ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254 standards

Your profile

  • System safety / avionics experience (navigation, communication, indicating/recording, emergency)
  • Understanding of avionics certification processes
  • A junior profile is possible on the V&V / requirement studies scope
  • Plus: eVTOL, electric aircraft or next-gen aviation background
  • Fluent English (Japanese not required)
