The context
Our client, a major Canadian banking institution, wants to strengthen its quality practice and increase automated test coverage across its DevSecOps delivery pipelines.
The role
- Act as QA reference and structure the testing practice across teams
- Extend automated test coverage (API, data, PDF)
- Set up performance and load testing
- Embed quality into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates
- Contribute to BDD/Gherkin testing (Cucumber, Rest Assured, Karate)
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in test automation and QA practices in banking
- Strong command of BDD/Gherkin, API testing and performance testing
- SQL / ETL, CI/CD, GitHub Actions
- Java, Python or JavaScript
- Security awareness (e.g. Snyk) a plus, agentic AI a bonus
