Senior UI/UX Designer, digital banking transformation, Montreal

A major Canadian bank is pushing its digital transformation forward and growing a design team that already counts around fifteen UX/UI designers and leads. Six positions are opening over time: one UI designer and five senior UI/UX designers.

Context

The teams design the web and mobile journeys the bank's customers use every day. Work is iterative, embedded in product teams, and built on a shared component library and design system.

The role

You own product design end to end, from understanding users to final mockups, across web, Android and iOS. You run interviews and usability tests, use behavioural data to guide design decisions, and help the design system evolve with the rest of the team.

What we are looking for

• Relevant education and around ten years of UX/UI design experience
• Responsive, multi-platform design (web, Android, iOS) in an iterative setting
• Hands-on qualitative user research: interviews, usability testing
• Ability to turn behavioural data into design solutions
• Experience with Lean Design, component libraries and design systems
• Strong command of Figma, Zeplin and the Adobe suite, including low-fidelity prototyping
• Fluent French (a French CV is required)
