EBX and Java Developer, master data management (MDM/RDM), financial institution, Montreal or remote from France

Abbeal is looking for a senior EBX and Java developer for a large Canadian financial institution.

Context

The reference data services team designs and delivers the master and reference data management (MDM/RDM) foundations used by every business line of the institution.

The role

• Design and develop MDM/RDM solutions, mainly on the EBX (TIBCO) platform
• Define delivery strategies: analysis, design, code, test automation, operations
• Document solutions and train the teams
• Support operations and analyse critical incidents
• Co-create with architects and other technology contributors
• Install and test software packages

Profile

• 5+ years in software design and development, degree in computer science or software engineering
• Hands-on experience in master or reference data management (MDM/RDM)
• Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, REST
• Oracle and SQL
• Git, GitHub Actions, Maven, Jenkins, Concourse, Artifactory, Tomcat
• Observability: Splunk, Dynatrace
• Nice to have: EBX (TIBCO), cloud and PaaS, relational and semantic modelling, DevOps culture

Terms

• Montreal, 2 days on site per week, or fully remote from France
• 37.5 hours per week, start on November 24, 2026, assignment of about one year
