Abbeal is hiring an AI Developer (AI Engineer) for a fast-growing Montreal AI startup. Permanent role, hired directly by the client.

The role

• Design and evolve the AI agents at the core of the product.
• Deliver end to end, from the API to the database, in production and for real users.
• Make results reliable by measuring performance, testing and making sure every change doesn't break anything.
• Take part in technical and product decisions with the founders.

The stack

• Python and TypeScript
• Google ADK (Agent Development Kit)
• Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL) on Google Cloud
• LLMs, Docker, CI/CD

Who you are

• You have 3 to 5 years of development experience, part of it on AI projects.
• You have already shipped AI agents or LLM applications to production, not just prototypes.
• You have solid software engineering foundations and you code fast and well.
• You know how to evaluate an LLM system and make it reliable.
• You are autonomous, you take ownership and you bring the energy that makes a difference in a small team.
• You speak French and English.
