Java Developer — Application Security — Montreal

A major Quebec financial group is strengthening application security and is looking for a Java developer specialized in application security.

Context

The application team is embedding stronger security requirements (secure code review, vulnerability remediation, OWASP best practices) across existing and upcoming Java services.

The role

You develop and secure Java components, identify and fix application vulnerabilities, and support teams on security best practices from the design stage onward.

Profile

• Proven experience in Java development
• Knowledge of application security principles (OWASP Top 10, secrets management, authentication)
• Comfortable with security-focused code reviews
• Ability to raise awareness and support development teams
