A major Canadian bank is looking for two senior project directors in Montreal, on two separate programmes. This is a permanent position with Abbeal, with a 12-month assignment at the client.
The two assignments
- Commercial lending: lead strategic initiatives on process simplification, automation, risk management and digital and AI capabilities
- Payments domain: run large technology projects, prepare and facilitate PI Planning, manage risk, capacity and IT and business alignment
What you will do
- Own full governance: schedule, budget, capacity, dependencies, risks and benefits
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams: analysts, architects, developers, data specialists
- Support executives in their trade-offs and produce executive reporting
What we are looking for
- At least 10 years managing complex projects in large organisations
- Agile, Scrum, SAFe and hybrid models, Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps
- Banking strongly preferred, payments knowledge or AI project delivery appreciated
- French required, professional English
Practical details
- Montreal, hybrid, 2 days a week in the office
