Senior QA Lead, payments domain, Montreal

A major Canadian bank is looking for a senior quality assurance lead in its payments domain.

Context

The payments domain brings together more than 250 people in agile teams. Services are built on APIs and microservices running on AWS, with a CI/CD pipeline on GitHub Actions.

The role

You define test strategies, shape test automation and coach the QA team day to day. You work closely with developers so that testing is part of continuous delivery rather than a separate phase.

What we are looking for

• 10+ years in quality assurance on large, complex projects
• Strong command of test management tools, Jira and Xray
• One or more object-oriented languages (Java, Python), with IntelliJ or VS Code
• API and microservices testing with Bruno or Rest Assured
• GitHub, CI/CD/CT with GitHub Actions, DevOps mindset
• Working knowledge of AWS services, AWS Cloud Practitioner certification at minimum
• Use of generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot
• Bilingual French and English is required
