Senior Backend Engineer — Legal-Tech AI — Paris

The context

A French legal-tech building an AI agent for the notarial and real-estate sector is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build the technical foundation of its platform. The AI agent relies on document ingestion, multiple integrations and autonomous triggers: you sit at the heart of this machinery, on a hybrid Google Cloud and Azure stack.

The role

• Design, build and scale the backend platform and internal APIs that power the AI agent.
• Set up and harden the document ingestion building blocks (pipelines, parsing, data structuring).
• Develop integrations with third-party systems and the agent's autonomous triggers.
• Ensure the robustness, performance and security of a fast-growing platform.
• Work closely with product and AI teams to turn business needs into solid backend services.

The stack

• Hybrid cloud: Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
• Building internal APIs and scalable backend services.
• Document ingestion, system integrations, automation and autonomous triggers.

Who you are

• Confirmed senior backend engineering experience, comfortable with at-scale architectures.
• Ideally coming from a high-growth startup or scale-up: velocity, autonomy, product sense.
• Strong command of at least one major cloud environment (GCP and/or Azure), comfortable in a hybrid context.
• Keen interest in data, document ingestion and system integrations.
• Autonomous, pragmatic, able to move fast without sacrificing quality.
