The context

A well-known Montréal-based organisation is strengthening its cloud team and is looking for a Google Cloud Platform specialist as a freelance contractor or on a permanent Abbeal contract. You work on an existing GCP environment that you help evolve, harden and bring to maturity.

The role

  • Design, deploy and evolve environments on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Optimise the cloud infrastructure: performance, cost, security, reliability.
  • Support teams on GCP best practices and automation.
  • Contribute to cloud architecture decisions and their implementation.

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at the heart of the mission.
  • Cloud infrastructure, deployment, automation.

Who you are

  • 5 to 7 years of experience, advanced to senior level on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong command of cloud infrastructure and GCP best practices.
  • Autonomous, able to ramp up quickly on an existing environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating with established technical teams.

Details

  • Open to both freelance and permanent (Abbeal CDI).
  • Duration: 6 months, renewable.
  • Location: Montréal / Québec, on-site or hybrid (to be confirmed).
  • Start as soon as possible. Day rate based on profile and experience.
