Context
Our client is launching a brand-new digital bank in Tokyo (joint-venture between a leading Japanese FinTech and a major banking group), dedicated to SMEs. You build the quality foundations of a from-scratch product.
Your mission
- Design and operate the QA process integrated into CI/CD (GitHub Actions), shift-left mode
- Define test strategies (functional, regression, integration, performance, security)
- Plan, create and execute test cases, report defects, make release decisions
- Read and challenge banking business rules (onboarding, KYC/AML, payments, ledger, JFSA reporting)
- Maintain traceability business rules ↔ test cases ↔ regulatory evidence (audit readiness)
Profile
- Solid QA experience with automation (Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, pytest, Jest)
- Python and/or TypeScript, CI/CD integration
- Affinity for banking / regulated domains
- Business-level Japanese essential for Risk / Compliance; fluent English
